Xbox 360 Coming Soon!!

Well it is just about here. The new Xbox.....Xbox 360. Just some of the features are 13 Xbox accessories, including faceplates that can be tacked on to the front of a console to personalize it. Other accessories, like a wireless controller and a 20-gigabyte hard drive, come standard.

If you are a Halo fan, Halo and Halo 2 for the current Xbox will play on the 360!!!

The North America release is slated for next week (November 22) with a December 2 launch in Europe and a Dec. 10 launch in Japan.

This is a system that isn't to be missed!! I know it is on my Christmas list! :)

October Birthdays

So I don't know why this is but all of my "offline" friends have birthdays in October (except 1). So we are all going away for the weekend to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver the weekend of Oct 1st to do a mass celebration.

I'm curious, how many people that regularly (or irregularly) stop by my site have a birthday in October?

I just find it strange....I don't know why....but to me it is odd. No one else I know like from work and such have the same thing with their b-days.

4th of July - US Independance Day

So....what are people doing for the 4th? I know the people outside of the US probably don't care....unless you are going to a protest against the US (I was in Sweden 1 year for the 4th and there was a protest....yet they love people from the US.....go figure).

Love to hear what people have planned! I'll be up in Vancouver, Canada that weekend....maybe Robbie is still there!! One can wish!!

Tired ? Yes, I'm tired. For several years I've been blaming it on middle age, poor blood, lack of vitamins, air polution, obesity, dieting, underarm odor, yellow wax build up, and another dozon things that make you
wonder if life is really worth living.

But I find out it isnt that. I'm tired beacause I'm over worked. The population of this country is 55 million. 25 million are retired, that leaves 30 million to do the work. there 19 million in school, that leaves 11 million to do the work. Of this total 2 million are unemployed and 4 million are employed by the govenment. That leaves 5 million to do the work. 1 million are in armed forces, which leaves 4 million to do the work. From that total 3 million are employed by the borough council, leaving 1 million to do the work. There are 620,000 people in hospitals and 379,998 in prison. that
leaves 2 people to do the work....

YOU and ME and your sitting on your butt reading this. No wonder I'im so tired.......

Dish Network Update - Satellite TV

Should you be considering Dish Network as your satellite provider please read my update to blog entry before contacting them.

Looking back I probably would not have made the switch. But you can't live with regrets over stupid things. Just hold them to any commitments they make! :)

Dish Network

This probably applies to people in the US - I'm not sure. But I have a question and would love to hear the experiences of others.

Currently I have DirecTV for satellite television. I have made the decision to switch to Dish Network because of customer service issues. Anyone one out there have Dish Network? What has your experience been?

Aside from that, a pretty quiet Tuesday at work. And what is going on in YOUR life today?

Sub note to this: If you choose to do business with Dish Network question the sales person very carefully, take detailed notes of that conversation, and make sure after installation that all of the things promised by the sales person have actually happened. Currently I am questioning their sales ethics and am going to be contacting the sales department continually to find out why what I was told on the phone when ordering service is different than what I am being billed for.

Wow I spend a lot of time in Vancouver. As I was going through photos tonight I came across photos from my birthday from 2003 that a group of us went to Vancouver for. Actually while it was actually on the day of my birth day, there were 4 of us celebrating October birthdays. So I thought I would upload the photos here.

As you can see we left Seattle very early!! The hotel I stay at when I go there has this little choo choo in the lobby...of course we needed to have photos of us in it!. Then there was coffee with the Queen...she didn't say very much :)

That night at dinner we ate at a great restaurant that has since closed :( looking at the photo the people from left to right are: Bryan, little 'ol me, Damien, Steve (Damien is a good friend of Steve's), and Matt the partner of Scott who is the person taking the photo. You'll see Scott in other photos like one feeding raccoons in Stanley park - by they way - don't try that...it is dangerous!

And of course we are going to take photos of things that just happen to amuse us. Thus the photo of 50% off your top! The Canadian military was putting on a demonstration for the public that day. They were great! Got to see all sorts of cool things (lets not forget the cuties in uniform hehehe) and got to climb all over the equipment. Very cool!

This was a great b-day. Spent time with people I cared about and it was really a start of a friendship that while strained right now I will cherish for the rest of my life.

So that is today's entry....just fluff today :)
